Here at the Door Controls training center, we have spent years training technicians from all over the USA and all over walk of life. With this and our tech support we have learned a lot from each technician in the field. We’ve learned so much to make a technicians job easier. Technicians are the core of this industry, and they mean a lot to use! We have come up with a couple of kits and tools using the technicians valued feedback to make their jobs a bit easier. There are a lot of kits and tools that we will go over to learn how they help a technician in the field speed up time troubleshooting and making the job easier.

Quick Start Test Kit

Quick Start Test Kit DC10029
The quick start test kit is a collection of many jumpers from all different types of doors. These jumpers are intended to be a quick shortcut to trouble shoot a door. When trouble shooting a door most technicians want to get to the control and the motor as quickly as possible as they are the two most expensive and time spent to repair a door. When you call our tech support they will walk you through the process of manually jump a door by cutting wires, touching pins, and so on, but with this kit this trouble shooting can go much faster as the kit comes with ready to use jumpers.

For example, this kit includes a standard 8ft strand of wire and connecter that is used when you need a quick access into the activation or safety and you want to test that part of the door you can hook those wires up and instead of coming down off your ladder and going all the way around the door to reactive it you can just hit the button connected to the 8ft wire
