• Check gap under door, not to exceed ¾” (Fire rated door)
• All doors are correctly wired
• Check fire door openings for proper operation
• Correct decal placements. Fire rated doors need a fire rated label on door and frame
• Secure loose hardware, adjust closer speed and check for leaks
• Make sure doors are opening and closing properly (no rubbing, dragging or binding)
• Check for proper functioning of lock or exit device
• Check that door meets or exceeds fire code (positive latch)
• Make sure that pairs of fire rated wood doors need either astragal or metal edge
• Meets all code requirements
