Passenger Security Revolving Door
BLASI offers a newly developed two-wing revolving door with an integrated security system that restricts pedestrian access from a non-secure to a secure side (one way exit only). In addition, advanced sensor technology is used to prevent the passage of objects such as weapons, knives or containers the size of a small matchbox from a non-secure to a secure side. Microprocessor outputs and inputs are used to communicate safety and security breaches to a secluded monitoring point and allow remote resetting and control of the door. The KP21 PS will eliminate the need for a security guard on the non-secured side of an exit
FUNCTION:
The Blasi K21 PS is an exit only door, preventing any access from the non-secure side. The revolver operates automatically when approached from the secure side. The two-wing design offers comfortable space for multiple passengers with luggage and accommodates wheel chair users. Safety for all users is provided by multiple, patented sensor systems to avoid accidents or injuries. The following modes are provided:

LOCKED/STOP |
The door is locked in a fully closed
position. |
| AUTOMATIC |
The door begins to rotate when the activation
sensors detect the approach of a pedestrian exiting from the
secured side. |

CONTINIOUS RUN |
The door continuously rotates at a slow speed
and switches to a faster walking speed when the activation
sensors detect the approach of a pedestrian from the secured
side |

The door is rotated using manual push button |

Since the events of September 11th, 2001
the need for more extensive security systems is evident. With the
newly developed K21 PS Passenger Security Revolving Door, BLASI
provides a solution for passenger exit areas. People or objects
as small as a matchbox will be detected on the non-secure side of
the door; and will not be allowed to enter the secure side.
